Needles to give gauge of 4 to 4.5 sts per inch.
2 oz. worsted weight yarn

Cast on 33 sts.
Knit 2 rows
Pattern 1 Rows:
1*(K2 tog, two times), *[YO, K1 }3 times; ,YO* , (K2tog -2 x's)* repeat across
2,3: Knit
4. Purl
Repeat until piece measures 7";. End after row 2 decreasing 3sts in last row
Begin pattern 2:
Row 1-3: Knit
Row 4: K2, P5 end K2
Row 5,7: Knit
Row 6,8: Repeat row 4
Rows 9,10: Knit
Repeat rows 1-10 until piece measures 26"; to 29"; and bind off. Sew buttons onto upper left hand corner.
